yoga services for adults

Guided In-The-Moment Meditation

If you feel you don’t have time to attend a lengthier meditation class but still want the benefits of meditating - this is the class for you. Whether you’re a beginner or advanced in your practice, sometimes it helps to re-center in meditation with a yoga professional that understands the mind:body connection and the freedom gained from emotional self-regulation.

This is a guided meditation intentionally focused on activating the parasympathetic nervous system (relaxation response) so that you can feel more relaxed in your body and be more aware going into your next activity of the day.

*Sadly, we are waiting for glitches to resolve before we can resume. Please feel free to visit the contact page if you'd like to be notified when services resume. Thank you and stay at peace.*

CoVID-19 Message

A Call To Action For Health Care

Here's a little break from the discouraging impacts of CoVID-19 and more encouragement on ways to live through this time with hope, health and a will to see opportunities of growth.

On the surface, the pandemic appears to have disrupted systems across the globe. In many ways, this may be true; however, it does not stop here. From my experience, the pandemic has inspired more consistent engagement with natural ways to access real calm in my mind and body. Meditation, focused breathing and some reiki have been a few complementary modalities for me during this time. I’ve noticed some positive results from my personal and self-care practices that have reinforced the importance of being open to alternative ways to achieve functional and good health. I am truly grateful for my trainings throughout the years, as well.

My hope now is to encourage the healthcare industry to take more seriously the many alternative ways of achieving optimal health for both healthcare workers and patients. Now is the time to embrace and to empower patients (every body) to become self-activators for themselves and the communities at large.

I hope to be a positive influence during this time and will be posting more "COVID-19_HealthTips" on my  social media accounts (access at the bottom of the page). Please feel free to visit and to reach out with any questions.

Sincerely,

Charity

Identifying With Transitions

COVID19 response

Identifying With Transitions During Times of Change

With any change there is a period of transition that must be acknowledged. Transitions can bring to surface feelings and emotions that are responding to the situational change. For example, it can feel like a challenge having to adjust to the COVID-19 social restrictions.

Therefore, it requires our initiative to slow down and listen intently to what is shifting in our lives, acknowledge the change and set healthy boundaries where needed. From here, we can transition more easily into making necessary adjustments, and be more open to learning and growing from the experience.

So, give yourself permission to feel and to identify your specific transitions during this time of rapid change!

Mindful Living

Meditation and mindfulness

Our modern times don't necessarily allow us to live a life consistent with sage practices of enlightenment. However, here are a few gentle reminders of what we can be mindful to include in our life practice so that we are constantly achieving a  greater state of awareness.
